1. Rice water
Japanese women use homemade beauty tips for glowing skin like rice water to make their skin smoother and clearer. Place one cup of rice in two cups of cold water and leave for twenty minutes. After twenty minutes you need to mix the rice and water for a while and then separate the water from the rice. Keep the rice water in a bottle (but don't throw the rice). Soak a cotton with this water and apply with care over the skin and neck.
To make a face pack for glowing skin soak a strong tissue or paper towel with the water rice, and apply over the face and neck. Leave it on for approx. 20 minutes. Your skin should be as soft as a baby's.
Now with the rice we are going to make a body exfoliator. Add enough water to the rice and blend. Apply over the body in circular motions. Leave for 5 minutes and rinse with cold or warm water but don't use any kind or soap or gel.
2. Wakame Kelp
Wakame Kelp is a kind of seaweed from Japan and often included in their diet. It helps to burn fatty tissue, purify the blood and help to eliminate toxic substances. It is great to improve hair and skin. It has anti aging properties for the skin supporting collagen production and helping to preserve hyaluronic acid which diminishes as we get older. Research has proved that skin care products containing Wakame Kelp help the skin look younger.
If you want to try a natural face/body/hand lotion with antioxidant minerals and seaweed have a look at Natural Vibrancy Rejuvenating Lotion. It is recommended for sensitive and dry skin and won't leave the skin feeling or looking greasy.

Japanese skin care and lifestyle usually includes a sense of peace and harmony and an array of quality cosmetics. Other regular practices include exercise, meditation, eating and drinking health.
Their natural beauty, has been comprised for centuries of nature's botanicals, sea vegetables, clays and certain oils meant for the cleansing and moisturizing of the skin.
Japanese cosmetics consisted of natural substances that enhance the beauty of the skin and body. These substances include the use of Squalane oil and Nuka rice bran for the skin.
Aside from the daily cleaning, other traditional beauty secret is exfoliating the skin using natural grains such as mineral clays from the earth, adzuki beans and rice bran, sea vegetables which draw out the toxins from the skin and special herbs.
The use of Camellia and Jojoba botanical oils along with herbal teas such as green tea, apple cider vinegar and certain extracts would nourish the skin
Their skin care routine would incorporate a special ingredient called Phytessence Wakame. This is said to be a beauty secret of youth as it stops your body from producing enzymes that age you, delaying fine lines and wrinkles.
There is a special protein called hyaluronic acid in your body that maintains the elasticity in your skin, but as you age, you produce less of this protein and the enzymes attack the rest that you have.
Wakame helps to stop these enzymes so that your hyaluronic acid levels will begin to rise again. Their cosmetics also include green tea which is widely used in Japan.
Along with the use of natural cosmetics and skin care, another secret to their youthful appearance is through the foods they eat. The Japanese eat food high in antioxidants and omega 3 fatty acids.
These foods consist of fish, seaweed, leafy greens and other vegetables. Also, they consume a great deal of fibber rich foods such as rice, and lean meats.
Besides having a healthy diet, they also follow the practice of meditation, especially Zen and Reiki.
Reiki is the most popular form of meditation practiced by the Japanese as it is a form of energy healing. Developed by Mikao Usui, Reiki uses the power of chi, visualization and meditation to effect healing.
Zen meditation is much simpler. Like Zen which means simple, the meditation is simply the process of sitting in a dark room, legs crossed, relaxing and thinking of nothing. This helps the practitioner to enter into the spiritual side of life.
Through proper researching and studying, anyone can learn the secrets of the Japanese lifestyle, however, most people find their inner beauty through meditation practice and inner peace.
