Take Time Out To Refresh And Rejuvenate Yourself

Tips For Aging Skin

Take a Break

There are moments in life when it feels like your head will explode. Either that or words will actually spill out of your mouth that should never reach human ears.

Learn to recognize when stress puts you in danger of short-circuiting or overreacting, so you can put myself into time-out before careless comments hurt the people you love. You tend to regret these outbursts later which leads to tension that shows on your skin and face. If you feel stretched to your limit, if your anger, frustration, or stress is about to boil over and burn those closest to you, put yourself in time-out. Walk into your bedroom, bathroom, or closet and lock the door. Breathe deep.

Take some time to organize your thoughts. This is what you might call “forced rest”—taking yourself out of a situation before it can get the better of you. Practice it the next time you feel yourself losing control.

When was the last time you took a vacation? Every year, take a week away. Now, it could be that thinking of a vacation only adds to your stress today. Maybe the very thought of planning a trip makes your stomach turn.

Don’t let this be an added source of stress. But if your heart lightens at the thought of a vacation, if you can immediately envision yourself basking in the sun on a warm beach, camping in the park across town, or exploring tourist attractions, then I encourage you to take some time to put it together.

Even if you can’t work it in for another six months, putting it on the calendar will give you something to look forward to, something to think and dream about and that will automatically reflect in your face, demeanor and attitude.

A Heart in Love with Beauty Never Grows Old - Turkish Proverb

by Sam Parry
(New Zealand)

Whilst beauty today has largely come to mean physical beauty, the ancients understood that Real Beauty comes from within. The radiance exuded on the outer was merely a function of the state of health of the internal condition. Cleopatra epitomizes "Beauty" and it is alleged that apart from her daily ritual milk baths she took great care of her mental, emotional and physical state.

The Cell is King - Feed the cell and support it's growth and development and exceptional beauty can be realized. Foster the regeneration and rejuvenation of stem cells and perhaps aging can be reversed.

My Best Anti Aging Tip

by Pilar
(London)

 Hi,

I drink a glass of red wine most days. Is a good anti aging tip, not only for the skin but for the health too because of the antioxidants that red wine has. I have problems with blood circulation and I find that drinking a glass of wine at night help me with this. I don't know if it will good for every body but it works for me. My grandmother just to drink a little glass of wine but it was white wine not red. She lived 98 years!

Using Ganoderma Lucidum

by Ljubinka
(Belgrade, Serbia)

 Hi all,

I am in my late 40s (it's a shock every time I say this out loud) and in the last few years the damage done to my skin is becoming more and more pronounced. So as a line of defense I started using neuropeptides from (www.perriconemd.com), Ganoderma Lucidum orally as an extract and this week I am planning on visiting dermatologist for a hyaluronic acid.

I just started taking Ganoderma and was wondering if anyone has any experience with this product used as an anti-aging product?

Cheers,

And let's stay young and brand new :)

Praying in the Moslem way attaching ur forehead to the floor according to the direction of praying

by Suzan
(South Africa)

I've converted to Islam 2 yrs ago and noticed the huge differences after praying the same way Muslims do.

Attaching my forehead to the ground while praying according to the Direction of the holy Mosque in Saudi Arabia which is the destination which all Muslims follow while praying, lots of wrinkles in my face became very minor and there's a research done proved that the way Muslims pray helps them get rid of the NEGATIVE ENERGY AND SUBSTITUTE it with Positive energy.

Under-eye circle treatment- Hydrolyze

I began noticing horrible under-eye circles last year. I'm in my late twenties and was surprised that it was already an issue. My mom gave me Hydrolyze for Christmas and said that it has helped her. I've been using it now for a few months, and I've noticed that my under-eye circles aren't as dark and my skin is firmer. I did a fair amount of research on it.

Beta Hydroxy Acids

By Judy

I read that beta hydroxy acids penetrate deeper than the alpha-hydroxy acids, the thought of which would mean, deeper, more lasting action. I found out (back to the aspirin tips!) that aspirin is the only beta-hydroxy acid I can get my hands on, AND that it needs to operate in a Ph of about 3 to penetrate your skin. - So, smooth up an aspirin, make a solution of it with lemon juice (love the cleansing tip!) and there is your pimple zapping, anti-aging bombshell in one cheap simple fix!

Hope this helps. Keep up the good work...my dad does the ultrasonic, radio wave and electricity facials too, by the way...I'm a big fan of that too! His mother told me to let egg whites dry on your skin and rinse them off....could there be a little peptide action there do you think? All the best, - Judy

Anti Aging Tips to Make You Look Younger

by Alesha Wilson

(Wilmington, NC)

An effective anti-aging skin care treatment must be simple and practical. You may have started several programs or diets only to end up realizing it is too much work and requires too much involvement that you slowly give up and slip back into your old habits. Try these simple and efficient easy-to-follow anti-aging skin care guidelines that will surely give you wonderful effects of a youthful look.

Water

Drink lots of it. Our body is made up of 70% water. By drinking at least seven or eight glasses of water, our skin, the biggest organ of our body, maintains the natural hydration level that it requires. Don't drink too much though; and only drink good and pure water. Getting a sufficient amount of water through the day will certainly lift your anti-aging skin care efforts.

Moderate Sun Tan

Loving the sun and getting a good amount of it is healthy. Enjoy it because it helps produce Vitamin D essential to us. Just don't overcook or dry up your skin in strong direct sunlight. Getting under it in a long period of time may drop the level of hyaluronan of your skin. Hyaluronan is a key substance that repairs your skin tissue on a regular basis. Sunscreen lotion is not always the answer. Some brands include chemicals that damage your skin and affect your health in the long term. Always watch what you apply in your skin and modify where and when you go, and how you dress.

Eat Healthy

Early aging is often a result of the existence of free radicals in your body that deliberately damages skin cells in your body. Eating rich leafy green veggies like spinach that are rich in antioxidants neutralize these free radicals. Carefully plan what you eat and pattern your life only around healthy food to maintain your smooth and young skin. Age is just a number. Look younger with these given  anti aging tips and feel younger as you grow old.
